Singapore’s Top 10 Hotel Swimming Pools
1. Marina Bay Sands
You’ve probably seen plenty of pictures of the infinity pool at Marina Bay Sands and it’s all for good reason. There’s nothing like swimming 73 floors above the ground and looking out at Singapore’s beautiful skyline. To maximize your time at the pool, I’d recommend getting to the hotel at 7am the day of check in. While your room won’t be ready that early, the hotel will store your bags for you and give you access to the pool. I guarantee you’ll enjoy having those extra hours at the pool!
2. JW Marriott Hotel
The pool at the JW Marriott offers great views of Singapore. It’s located on the 18th floor of the building, which is in the middle of the building, so there’s plenty of shade. The pool covers half the perimeter of the building and has one shallow pool where there are tables and chairs in water in case you want to have a tea party in the pool or something. I thought that was quite creative.
3. The Fullerton Bay Hotel
The Fullerton Bay Hotel has a rooftop pool that offers the prime view of Marina Bay Sands as well as the skyline in the distance. There is one big pool and a few tiny cozy pools that are a bit more secluded and are ideal for couples or friends that want some privacy. The tiny cozy pools are first come first serve, so get there early! There’s also a restaurant and trendy bar on the rooftop so you can enjoy some cocktails while you’re lounging.
4. Parkroyal on Pickering
Located in an eco-friendly hotel, Park Royal’s pool is surrounded by the cutest huts for lounging. It’s on the 5th floor of the hotel, but due to the interesting shape of the hotel, it almost feels like a rooftop pool. You get both a good amount of sun and shade. There’s a nice view of green trees and skyscrapers from the pool.
5. Mandarin Oriental
The pool at Mandarin Oriental is pretty big and offers views of Marina Bay Sands as well as the CBD buildings. It has cool fountains in the pool that you can stand under and enjoy the water pressure on your shoulders.
6. Hotel Jen
For those people who love shopping, Hotel Jen is located in the prime shopping location at Orchard. When you’re done shopping, you can head to the rooftop pool and relax while enjoying views of the skyline in the distance.
7. Oasia Hotel Downtown
Located inside the eyecatching red building with green leaves, Oasia’s pool area is just as eyecatching. There’s one big infinity pool that is surrounded by trees and lounge chairs and is shaded. There’s also two smaller rooftop pools that offer sunlight.
8. Hotel Indigo Katong
Hotel Indigo is located a bit further from downtown so it’s rooftop pool offers a different view of Singapore. With the bustling skyscrapers far in the distance, you’ll get views of the colorful rooftops and lush greenery.
9. The Westin
The Westin’s pool probably had the best view of the water at one point in time. I say this because there are now buildings being constructed in front of it and those buildings block a fair amount of the water view. If you swim to the right edge of the pool, you can still see the water view. If you swim to the left edge of the pool, you can see Gardens by the Bay and the ferris wheel in the distance.
10. Naumi Hotel
Naumi hotel’s rooftop pool is a bit smaller than all of the pools listed above, but there wasn’t any people in the pool when I went so that was nice. There’s a few big buildings in it’s direct view, but next to those you get a lovely view of the CBD buildings in the background.
