Casa Burano – The One & Only Hotel on Burano Island
When I first walked up to the door of Casa Burano, I was so surprised. Our hotel was actually a renovated Burano house! I had always seen pictures of the colorful houses, but never did I think I would get a chance to stay inside one! I was thrilled!
The Rooms
I was even more happy when we went inside and saw our rooms! They are so spacious and modern. My room had a really fancy shower system and a tub with a spacious counter.
My friend’s room was also really nice as well. She had an upstairs living area.
The Breakfast
Casa Burano packs a cute breakfast for you in a picnic basket. You can enjoy the breakfast in the common area downstairs.
The Restaurant & Vineyard
Casa Burano has a Michelin Starred restaurant named Venissa on Burano’s sister island of Mazzorbo. Venissa is a quick 10 minute walk from Burano and is located on a vineyard. The pasta there was the best pasta I’ve ever had. I could taste the homemade freshness. They also produce a one of a kind white wine with the characteristics of a red wine.

The tourists all stay in Venice so you avoid the long lines for the ferry and the cramped ferry ride over.
Enjoy the Spacious Ferry Ride from Burano to Venice
You are close enough to Venice that you still get to experience it if you want to. You can take the ferry to Murano or Venice and have the ferry all to yourself because most people are commuting in the opposite direction.
