Fairmont Monte Carlo – Monaco

Fairmont Monte Carlo – Monaco

My stay at the Fairmont Monte Carlo was nothing short of lovely. I enjoyed Monaco so much that I extended my stay here. Some highlights:

The Rooftop Pool

Also known as Nikki Beach. Imagine swimming in the pool with the sun shining and the views of pretty mountains in the distance. Imagine relaxing on the cabanas listening to the music blasting and the happy vibes of all the people around you. The good life.

The Room

My room was cute and gave me major beach / cruise ship vibes. It had the perfect amount of sunlight shining in. It also had a patio with a lounge chair where I could enjoy the peaceful garden view.

The Dining

The hotel has 3 restaurants and I loved eating at all of them! They have:
1. Nobu, the Japanese restaurant, which reminded me of home and that was comforting as I had been traveling for quite some time.

2. Horizon Restaurant, rooftop restaurant with 360 degree views and delicious tartare!

3. Saphir24, which has a nice view of the ocean.

Things to Do

Hang out at the hotel

In addition to the rooftop pool, the Fairmont has a spa, a casino, a mall, and a fitness center onsite.

Watch the Grand Prix

The Fairmont has the best seats in the house for the Grand Prix. The Grand Prix route runs through the Fairmont Hairpin, which is a U curve road. There are rooms that have the perfect view of the race.

Explore Monaco

The Fairmont is located right next to the Monte Carlo casino and walking distance to Larvotto beach. It’s a 40 minute walk to the Port de Fontveille. There’s so many pretty views during that walk that the 40 minutes passes by pretty quickly.

Explore Southern France

There is a train that takes you along the Southern coast. Menton is a half hour train ride east from Monaco and Eze is a little over a half hour train ride west from Monaco.
