Sheraton Dubrovnik Riviera Hotel

When I first walked into my room at the Sheraton Dubrovnik, I immediately smiled when I saw the view of the mountains outside my window. I proceeded to walk outside to the balcony to see the full view. It was breathtaking. I could see the guests below me enjoying the huge swimming pool and laying out on the sun chairs, the blue of the ocean, and the mountains in the distance.

The Room

I was feeling a bit under the weather after spending all night at a music festival prior to my stay here. So I spent almost all day in bed trying to recover. Luckily the bed at the Sheraton was sooo soft and comfortable. Perfect bed to recover in. The room itself was also very spacious and had mirrors facing the bed which I loved.

The hotel sent over some strawberries and chocolate, which put me in a good mood. I eventually migrated from relaxing in bed to relaxing on the balcony of my room. The balcony had a few chairs and I could’ve sat there all day admiring the view.

Hotel Grounds

When I started to feel better, I finally left my room and explored the hotel! This is what the interior hotel grounds looked like:

The hotel’s outdoor pool is huge! It even has a little pool area for kids. Quite often, I had the pool to myself because most people were tanning on the sun chairs around the pool.

There’s also a huge indoor pool for those who prefer to swim indoors. The water was a nice refreshing temperature.

My favorite part about the hotel was their spa! They had two saunas, two steam rooms, and a jacuzzi. I pretty much spent half a day alternating between the three. It was awesome. The sauna was the nicest sauna that I have ever been in because it felt almost brand new.

Dining

There were quite a few dining options at the hotel. They have their main restaurant where a buffet style breakfast and dinner are served, the piano lounge, another lounge by the ocean, and a oceanfront restaurant. The restaurants offer a variety of food options. There are also a strip of restaurants located right outside the hotel.

Location

The Sheraton is located in Mlini and is a 10 minutes drive away from Old Town Dubrovnik. There are taxis and Ubers in Dubrovnik so it’s very convenient to get anywhere from the hotel. Though, you really don’t need to leave the hotel area if you don’t want to. In addition to a strip of restaurants, there’s also a mall that’s one minute walking distance from the hotel and a beach with beautiful mountain views right outside the hotel.

The beach feels like Sheraton’s private beach. It technically isn’t their own, but the area is pretty secluded and right next to the hotel’s outdoor pool area. So if you want to take a dip in ocean water, it’s literally right outside!
